BANGKOK BLUR

Hello loves! It's time to escape the cold winter for some warm and sunny adventure, spring is just around the corner so let's get excited for the warmer days ahead and hopefully get a little inspiration from our holiday looks we've put together from our founders, Jacqueline and Klemens, last trip to Bangkok.

Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is a very vibrant and busy city with lots of fun street life, amazing food and lots of things to do. A lot of people pass through Bangkok when travelling to different places in Thailand or other countries nearby, and if you have the time we highly recommend stopping by for at least 2 nights to enjoy the amazing city!

There are lots of things to do in Bangkok, so apart from showing our favourite travel looks we have also put together some places that you can't miss while visiting!

DISCOVER THE WHITE LINEN SHIRT & THE BLACK LEATHER BUCKLE SANDALS

First of all, what to wear? Bangkok is one of the hottest cities in the world with yearly average temperatures of 28° Celsius, so wear something light and airy. Our linen shirts are the perfect travel companion to any hot destinations as they breathe very well, can be worn as a dress, tied up with shorts and perfect for the beach evenings as well. We always keep a linen shirt in the bag for any occasions! Match the shirt with our denim shorts and sandals.

Bangkok is big and there are many places to stay, but we stayed close to Khaosan Road, even if it's the main tourist street and very busy and lots of party at night, there are many side streets that are calmer with nice hotels, it's easy and the location is great to move around.

One must do thing while in Bangkok is to take a longtail boat through the narrow Daokanong canal, it's relaxing and beautiful, you'll pass by different temples and learn more about the Thai history and culture. You can either get a private longtail boat or a share with more people.

Another piece we always bring in our suitcase is the long batwing dress, thanks to the loose fit and big sleeve openings this dress is perfect for a day in the city, both day and night. Discover all our batwing dresses in different colours and variations.

Moving around in Bangkok is very easy, we prefer the Tuk tuks as they are fun to drive around in, but there are lots of taxis and a great working metro system. If you're only there for a short time we recommend taking the Tuk tuk to get the full experience of the amazing Bangkok sounds and characteristics.

Time to visit some temples, there are many temples in Bangkok and there are some you shouldn't miss. You can either see them from outside or visit inside, just don't forget to wear appropriate clothing. Wat Pho and Wat Arun are great temples to see, go to Wat Pho and see the Reclining Buddha and then walk down to the Tha Tien Pier where you can take a boat over to Wat Arun, also called Temple of Dawn. There is a little restaurant just next to the pier before taking the boat which is very nice for a spicy mango salad and a cold beer before you head over. A nice break from the sun with a beautiful view!

If you don't have time visiting Wat Arun, don't worry, you can also watch is from across the river, the temple lights up after sunset and it's oh so beautiful!

DISCOVER THE LIGHT LOVE RELAXED T-SHIRT

Another day, another long batwing dress. This is our new dark faded color which is already a favourite within the team, we hope you like it too!
This new wash is available in The Long Batwing Dress, The Short Batwing Dress and The Longsleeve Dress. We love these dresses as they are so versatile and easy to combine. Wear them with sandals, sneakers or boots, denim jackets, leather jackets or sweaters, or just simple with some jewellery and a canvas bag!

Apart from the beautiful view of Wat Arun with the traditional boats and river life, you shouldn't miss the breathtaking views over the Bangkok skyline. If you're not into fancy rooftop bar/restaurants and just want to see the views of the city, go to the top of the King Power MahaNakhon, it is the highest skyscraper in Bangkok (314m) with an observation deck on top with 360° panorama views. There is also a skywalk with a glass floor where you can take some fun photos, if you dare! Go up before sunset and enjoy the incredible views, there is also a DJ and a bar, so definitely a fun evening experience!

If you have some extra time and comfortable shoes, it's nice to walk around, get lost and discover new places, but if you're into shopping there are lots of malls to escape the heat during the day! The malls in Bangkok are huge and you can easily spend hours just walking around, it's an experience in itself.

For a comfortable adventure, we always use our canvas bags while travelling, they come in small and big and are perfect for carrying your things while exploring. Discover our canvas bags in different colours and sizes.

You can't miss Chinatown while visiting Bangkok, it's one of the largest Chinatowns in the world and it's also one of the main tourist attractions in the city. It lies around Yaowarat Road and you can visit during any time of the day. During the day it's more calm, it's very packed with narrow streets and you can walk around and look into all the small little shops.

Colourful and lively Yaowarat Road.

DISCOVER THE DARK FADED LONGSLEEVE DRESS & THE BLACK LEATHER BUCKLE SANDALS

Last fall/winter 23 we launched the longsleeve dresses which were a huge success after our all time favourite batwing dresses, the longsleeve dresses (as you hear by the name) are with long sleeves and a good alternative if you want more coverage and don't want the dress as airy! It's specially perfect for chilly evenings.

Here is Yaowarat Road again, at night all the street food stands roll out and the whole China town becomes a street food market with lots of food alternatives! Sunset is around 6pm every day in Thailand, meaning the evenings feel much longer so the night markets are very famous, it is also the best time to be outside when the temperatures drop a little.

If you're a food lover, you will love Bangkok! There are little food carts everywhere in the city and the food is so incredible! A tip is to try something here and there so you get the taste of everything they have to offer. If you don't like spicy food, make sure to tell them because it's HOT!

For nights out we love to sparkle! Our glitter skirt is perfect to bring on your holidays as it's small, doesn't take much space in your suitcase and works perfectly with any T-shirt or top you have with you! Wear it with your sandals or flip-flops and shine a little extra on your holidays!

Lots of love xx
